Tour Itinerary

Morning class: 9.00 – 13.00
Afternoon class: 15.00 – 19.00

Pick up at your hotel by tuk tuk and head out to the Siem Reap countryside to meet the local family who will act as your culinary hosts for the day. Get to know them while you stroll through the local market and buy the ingredients for the day. This is the perfect chance to chat with your older hosts as well, whom often have incredible stories of their lives during the Khmer Rouge Regime.

After your market experience, head back to your host family’s home and roll up your sleeves for some traditional Khmer cooking. Dice, spice and simmer while your hosts help you craft a series of traditional Khmer dishes, and sit down afterwards to sample your creations, with complimentary ice-cold beer, soft drink, or bottled water.

After the meal, tuk tuk is await to take you back to hotel.

Cooking classes are completely hands-on. Everyone will have his or her own cooking station and equipment. After this funny class, you learnt a number of Cambodian different dishes, and a recipe card will be provided.

Note: It is customary in Cambodia to bring a small gift when visiting another family’s home. Therefore, we recommend to bring along some snacks, fruits or daily-use products!
